So my husband've been with AT&T since 1995 and we had a very bad experience since last time we upgraded his phone. We got the BoGo ( not mentions about if we pay off the remains we have to pay for 2 phones) and the free IPad as the sale associated said at the time but come to figure out it's not free we have to pay $10/month for the service and we didn't even know of. It's fine since it's our false for not looking at the contract details. So a few days ago my husband logged in to the account and saw the money we have to pay off, he clicked on it and there's no Warning or Message pop up about the BOGO regulations. This is a very very poor designed system and website that AT&T has. How easy is it to put a POP-up message on the BOGO plan for customer or AT&T doesn't care about customer get screwed over to make more money? Who in the right mind would pay off the balance money and still have to pay for the rest of the installments as the Customer Services said it's the BOGO plan? We tried to ask if there's anyway they could help us postpone or converted the payment and kept the original installments plan, all we hear is "It's BoGo and you have to pay for it". They don't even tried to help when we called and basically with AT&T " Yeah, congrats! You just screwed yourself and $400 more in my pocket".
How easy it is to put a message like this "This is the amount reminds on your plan, you can pay it off today but you have the BOGO plan so the installments will still reminds this amount in the next so many months. Are you sure you want to do this?" when customer with plans trying to pay off? Oh and then we mentions about the Ipad, so my husband asked her if she could figure out if we terminate it right now how much the termination fee would be? She transferred us to the other lady and first thing she asked us is "Do you want to terminate your ipad?", Who's in the world would pay $60 for early termination while we only has 2 months equal $20 to be done with 2 years contract. We have 8 months left on the phone with them and we're seriously consider ed to be done with AT&T and going to different provider!!!
