Online order for new service and phones

One would think ordering online would be an easy process? Not with this company. They can't figure out over the course of 5 days if my application is pending or approved. I've called numerous times to comply with the emails and provide more verification of who I am. At the end of each phone call my status goes from pending to approved. Then within 3hours I get another email that says action needed please call number below to finish completing your order. But this last time I am told that I need to go to my nearest att store to provide verification by showing my ID & SSN. Whats the point of ordering online then. Of I was able to get to my nearest att I would've just started service there. I wouldn't have asked to have my phones shipped instead of picked up in store. I can't get to a store to verify myself. I can email or fax documents needed. Oh ya that wasn't an option for me. Instead I'm put on hold several times and by the end I'm so irritated being on the phone forever as I'm transferred from one poor English speaking person to the next. That I will purchase phones somewhere else and blast everywhere possible the poor service I received and that service through AT&T. Is not recommended.
